What and Why SIGGRAPH?
SIGGRAPH is a Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. SIGGRAPH Asia this year will be held in Kobe, Japan at the Kobe Convention Center from 2 - 5 November 2015.
The SIGGRAPH Asia conference attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over the world. So not only will we get to see the newest technology, ideas and techniques in this community first hand through the many conferences and exhibitions, we will be learning from the world's leading experts in research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education, and the web. We'll also get the chance to interact with the creators and the brains behind some of the products we rely so heavily on, people we've only read about in articles.
Kobe is the capital of Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's ten largest cities and voted #8 of 180 destinations in Japan, where we will be. We will be staying at Ariston Hotel Kobe, which is convenient for us to get to the centre where Siggraph Asia 2015 is held at.
We will also be visiting Osaka on the last day, Japan's third largest and second most important city.
